Common Applications

Professional sign making, commercial graphics, displays, lettering, decals and specialty fabrication where this exact film construction is appropriate.

Choosing & Using This Product

Use Series 2900 for normal paint-mask applications without a baking cycle. For mild bake cycles up to 200°F, select the Series 2905 high-temperature version.

Production Guidance

Verify substrate compatibility, surface preparation, cutter or printer settings and environmental exposure before production. Specialty, reflective, fluorescent, metallic and writable films have different handling and durability characteristics from ordinary opaque sign vinyl. Follow the current manufacturer instructions for the exact series.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute another FDC/Lumina series with a similar appearance?
Not automatically. Film technology, adhesive, durability and intended application vary by series. Select by the technical requirements of the job, not appearance alone.

Should I test the material before a large production run?
Yes. Test cutting, printing where applicable, adhesion and finished appearance on the actual substrate before committing to a large job.
