Lumina 9105 Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl in Lavender is cuttable heat-applied material for textile decoration. A PVC heat transfer film with a sparkling glitter appearance for decorative textile graphics. Its substantial 12.8 mil construction adds a glitter effect to cut lettering and shapes, while the pressure-sensitive PET carrier holds the weeded artwork for positioning.

Fabric compatibility and project ideas

Use this series on 100% cotton, 100% polyester and cotton/polyester blends. Typical projects include spirit wear, event shirts, personalized apparel, decorative names and custom merchandise. Check the garment care label, surface treatment and heat tolerance before decorating an item.

Choose glitter when a sparkling appearance is part of the artwork. It is a decorative effect and does not establish reflective safety performance. Neon shades describe color appearance and do not imply glow-in-the-dark performance.

Roll sizes and cutter feed

Available configurations for this color: 15 in × 5 yd (15 ft); 15 in × 10 yd (30 ft); 15 in × 25 yd (75 ft); 15 in × 50 yd (150 ft); 20 in × 5 yd (15 ft); 20 in × 10 yd (30 ft); 20 in × 25 yd (75 ft); 20 in × 50 yd (150 ft). Each selected variant is one roll. Width, length and feed availability can differ between colors. A 5-yard roll contains 15 linear feet, a 10-yard roll contains 30 feet, a 25-yard roll contains 75 feet and a 50-yard roll contains 150 feet.

Choose the correct Feed Type. Punched rolls have sprocket holes for compatible pin-feed cutters. Unpunched rolls are for friction-feed cutters. These feed formats are not interchangeable. Check the cutter feed system, roll-width capacity and usable cutting area before ordering.

Material and finish

Film construction: PVC. Nominal film thickness: 12.8 mil. Surface appearance: glitter. The clear heat-activated adhesive bonds the cut design to compatible textiles during heat pressing. The carrier is pressure-sensitive PET.

Cutting and heat application

Mirror the artwork and reverse-cut the film. Weed away unwanted material while leaving the design on its carrier. Preheat the garment for five seconds. Position the weeded graphic and press at 325°F with medium pressure for 10 seconds. Peel the carrier cold. These settings follow the series product data bulletin. Confirm the current instructions and test the complete process with the actual press, cutter and garment before production.

Layering: Use Glitter only as the top layer of a compatible layered design. Do not apply another film over the glitter surface. Test the complete material stack before production.

Care and common questions

How should I wash decorated garments?

Turn the garment inside out and machine wash cold with mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean. Dry at normal temperatures and follow the garment care instructions. Test wash durability on a sample before offering a finished design.

Can this film be printed or used for ordinary signs?

This is colored cut film for textile heat transfer, not printable media or pressure-sensitive sign vinyl. Choose compatible printable HTV for full-color printed graphics. Garment blanks, cutters and heat presses are sold separately.
