R-Tape 4050 RLA / FDC 2615 is a 4.5 mil matte standard-paper application tape with a medium-tack removable clear adhesive. Release Liner Adhesion (RLA) helps improve adhesion to graphic-film release liners, minimizing liner curl and tunneling during transfer. It is intended for medium-to-large lettering, fleet graphics, humid conditions and appropriate wet applications; it is a transfer tape, not printable sign vinyl.
FDC lists a 1-year shelf life and minimum application temperature of 40°F (4°C). Wet application is marked No in the Key Features table despite the use-case paragraph mentioning wet applications; follow the manufacturer instructions for the particular transfer process rather than treating this as permission to wet-apply the tape.
