All striping rolls take approximately 10–14 days to arrive, including a 5–7-day processing time. These rolls are custom cut and NON-REFUNDABLE.

3M 180MC Controltac striping in Bright Orange combines a thin, conformable 2 mil cast vinyl film with positionable, pressure-activated adhesive. Controltac technology helps position the film before firm pressure bonds it, while Comply micro air-release channels help air escape during application. Select the stripe width and roll length for your sign or fleet-graphics project.

Features and benefits

• Cast construction follows compatible contours for professional sign and transportation graphics.
• Positionable adhesive gives installers room to align the stripe before final pressure.
• Micro air-release channels help reduce trapped air during a dry installation.
• Compatible with electronic cutting and approved screen-printing workflows.

Applications and compatibility

Use for vehicle lettering and accent striping, fleet identification, commercial signs and other compatible indoor or outdoor graphics. Match the film and graphic design to the surface contour; striping rolls are narrow graphic material rather than full-width wrap rolls.

Choose the right roll

Choose the stripe width first, then the length. A 10-yard roll contains 30 feet, a 20-yard roll contains 60 feet and a 50-yard roll contains 150 feet. Only the combinations offered for this color appear in the size menu. Order enough material for the full job, allowing for alignment and trimming.

These unpunched rolls have no edge sprocket holes. For cutter use, check the machine's minimum media width and pinch-roller placement; very narrow stripes may need to be applied directly rather than fed through a cutter. Punched pin-feed material is a separate configuration and is not interchangeable.

Application and care

Clean and dry the compatible substrate, remove wax and contamination, and test adhesion before the full job. Apply dry. Position the film, then squeegee with overlapping firm strokes to activate the bond; do not use a wet application method. Keep the material and surface within the specified application conditions. After installation, clean gently with mild detergent and water; avoid abrasive cleaning and directing pressure-washer jets at film edges.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a full-width roll?

No. You receive the custom-cut stripe width and length selected in the size menu.

Can I use this with a vinyl cutter?

The film supports electronic cutting, but the roll must be wide enough for your cutter's feed system. Check the machine requirements before choosing a narrow width.

Is this reflective or heat-transfer vinyl?

No. This is pressure-sensitive adhesive graphic vinyl, not reflective safety sheeting or garment HTV.

Can I return a custom-cut roll?

No. Striping rolls are cut to order and are non-refundable. Confirm the color, size and surface compatibility before ordering.

How long does delivery take?

Allow approximately 10–14 days for arrival, including 5–7 days of processing before shipment.
