Product Description

Lumina 9000 Opaque Heat Transfer Vinyl in Salmon Pink is cuttable HTV for heat-applied textile graphics. An opaque polyurethane film for detailed cut lettering, logos and layered apparel graphics. Its pressure-sensitive PET carrier supports positioning small design elements, and the semi-matte surface gives solid-color artwork a subdued finish.

Punched products require an additional 2 days of processing before shipment.

Fabric compatibility and projects

Use on 100% cotton, 100% polyester and cotton/polyester blends. Typical projects include personalized shirts, business logos, team names, event apparel and custom merchandise made from compatible materials. Check the garment care label and perform an adhesion and heat test before decorating a complete order.

Roll sizes and cutter feed

Available configurations for this color: 15 in × 5 yd (15 ft); 15 in × 10 yd (30 ft); 15 in × 25 yd (75 ft); 15 in × 50 yd (150 ft); 20 in × 5 yd (15 ft); 20 in × 10 yd (30 ft); 20 in × 25 yd (75 ft); 20 in × 50 yd (150 ft). Each selection is one roll. Colors do not necessarily share every width, length or feed option.

Select the correct Feed Type. Punched rolls have sprocket holes for compatible pin-feed cutters. Unpunched rolls are for friction-feed cutters. These formats are not interchangeable. Match the cutter feed system and usable cutting width before ordering. The size and feed combinations available for this color appear in the selectors.

Cutting and heat application

Mirror the artwork and reverse-cut the film, then weed away the unwanted material while retaining the design on its carrier. Preheat the garment for five seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. Position the weeded design and press at 302°F with medium pressure for 10 seconds. Peel the carrier hot. Test the cutter settings and press performance with the actual film and garment.

This film supports layering. Test the complete layer combination before production and avoid excessive heat exposure from repeated pressing. Use a heat press capable of consistent pressure and temperature across the design. Printable film, garment blanks and application equipment are sold separately.

Frequently asked questions

Can this material be printed?

No. This is a colored cut film for plotter-cut graphics. Choose compatible printable HTV for photographic or full-color printed designs.

Can I use it as sign vinyl?

This is heat-applied textile film. It is not pressure-sensitive sign vinyl for windows, vehicles or rigid signs.

How should finished garments be cared for?

Follow the garment label and the current film care instructions. Test washing and adhesion on a sample garment before offering a finished design to customers.
