Fluorescent color with EasyWeed handling

EasyWeed combines a pressure-sensitive polyester carrier with a clear, permanent heat-activated adhesive. The carrier helps keep detailed lettering and small design elements in position during weeding. Its layerable construction supports multicolor apparel decoration, with a short tack step for positioning layers before the final press.

Punched and unpunched feed types

Unpunched rolls use FDC series 9016 and are intended for compatible friction-feed cutting equipment. Punched rolls use FDC series 9066 and have edge feed holes for compatible sprocket-feed or pin-feed equipment. These formats are not interchangeable. Match both roll width and feed type to your cutter.

Suitable fabrics and applications

Decorate compatible untreated cotton, polyester and cotton/polyester blends with custom apparel designs. Test adhesion and appearance on the actual garment before production. The FDC-linked EasyWeed technical guidance excludes treated fabrics and dye-sublimated textiles. This material is intended for cut graphics, rather than printing directly onto the film.

Heat-press application instructions

1. Mirror the design and load the film carrier side down. Perform a test cut using settings appropriate for the cutter, blade and material.
2. Weed the excess film, leaving the cut graphic on its carrier.
3. Preheat the garment for 2–3 seconds.
4. Position the design and cover it with a heat-transfer cover sheet or multipurpose paper.
5. Following Siser North America's EasyWeed guidance, press at 305°F / 150°C for 10–15 seconds with medium pressure.
6. Peel the carrier hot or cold. If an edge lifts, cover and re-press for 5–10 seconds.

Wash and care

Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash. Machine wash cold with mild detergent. Siser permits a normal dryer setting; follow the garment's care requirements as well. Do not dry clean. Liquid fabric softener is not recommended.

Will fluorescent colors match between orders?

Siser notes that fluorescent colors can vary from batch to batch because of their manufacturing process. Plan matching garments together when consistent color across a project matters. Screen displays are color references and do not establish an exact physical color match.
