Soft Foam works best for medium-to-large graphics where its thickness and dimensional feel can be appreciated. Because it is thicker than conventional HTV, Stahls recommends extra attention to cutter setup and notes that a 60° blade can be useful for thicker materials. Test-cut before production.

Cutting, Printing & Heat-Press Guidance

Use the production workflow specified for this exact material family. For cut HTV, mirror the artwork before cutting, perform a test cut, weed the excess material and heat apply with even time, temperature and pressure. For printable material, verify printer, ink, contour-cut and masking compatibility before production. Always test the actual garment because coatings, dyes, fabric blends and heat sensitivity vary.

Is this the same as standard matte HTV?
No. This material has a specialized finish, construction or performance purpose. Select it because that characteristic is appropriate for the finished garment.

Can I use it on any garment?
No heat-transfer material should be assumed compatible with every textile. Confirm the garment fabric and test unfamiliar, coated, sublimated or heat-sensitive garments before production.

Should I test before a production run?
